Michael serves as Editor-in-Chief and hopes to broaden JAEL’s impact in the fields of animal and environmental law, especially in the regions within and surrounding Kentucky. Michael is an avid rock-climber and spends much of his free time in Kentucky’s beautiful Red River Gorge area in Daniel Boone National Forrest. He has three children and three dogs, and enjoys introducing them to all of the beautiful lands and waterways of Kentucky.
Rebecca is a proud Louisville native who is passionate about serving the community and her school. She currently serves as Executive Editor of JAEL. She plans to pursue a practice in corporate law while remaining involved in non-profit work and the Louisville community. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys playing sports, working out, and spending time with her husband Jordan and dogs Tahoe and Vegas.
Joey serves as Associate Editor for JAEL and plans on practicing criminal law after graduation. Outside of school, Joey works as a law clerk at the County Attorney's office. He is the father of a three year old daughter who one day "wants to be a lawyer like her daddy." And last, Joey spends his free time teaching sexual assault awareness to fraternity and sorority members through his Greek Law program as well as serving on the Connect team at Sojourn Midtown Community Church.
